How to Choose Your Food at an All Inclusive

Buffet vs. A la Carte – Which is best?…It depends…

Buffet:
  • Great if you are in a hurry
  • Perfect for large groups or families
  • Offers the most variety
  • Best for those with allergies due to variety
  • No reservations needed
  • Can dine at any time during open hours
  • More relaxed dress code
A la Carte:
  • Plan to spend at least 2 hours dining
  • Limited but more gourmet menu
  • Typically cannot accommodate groups larger than 6
  • Sometimes requires reservations (Check with your resort’s concierge desk or your DreamTrips host for details.)
  • May have set dining times – may not be able to eat at flexible times
  • Many have a dress code:
    • Standard dress code: Men – long pants, no sandals, no sleeveless shirts; Women – no short shorts/cut offs.
    • Check with your resort’s concierge desk or your DreamTrips host for additional dress code requirements.
